Visual Acuity and Function Assessment

Dr. Karli takes the time to thoroughly evaluate your visual acuity, eye coordination, and focusing abilities in addition to measuring your prescription. She always takes the time to demonstrate any prescription changes, so you are confident and comfortable in new glasses or contact lenses.

Early Disease Detection with State-of-the-Art Technology

Our comprehensive exams always include retinal photos and specialized retinal scanning called OCT (optical coherence tomography), allowing for a thorough and careful assessment of your eye health. These modern technologies help your optometrist identify early signs of potential eye conditions, allowing for timely treatment and prevention of vision loss.

Timely referrals, Follow-Up or Treatments

As a result of your examination findings, we are happy to offer you products and services tailored to your individual needs. We can also arrange referrals to specialists and report to your family doctor, as required. Dr. Karli will also discuss any available treatments and recommend appropriate follow ups for your unique requirements.

Our Supplemental Exam Services

We strive to include everything in our comprehensive exams, but some scenarios require additional testing. We offer the following supplemental exams to meet your specific needs:

Contact Lens Performance

An add-on to our comprehensive exam for individuals who already wear contact lenses. We’ll ensure you’re getting the best from your lenses and that they’re not putting your eyes at risk of damage. This includes your finalized contact lens prescription (for the same or a very similar brand).

Contact Lens Training

or new contact lens wearers. This usually involves a few visits and can be more of a process. For that reason, we offer this option as a one-time package that includes all the visits, trial lenses, and training to get you set up to be a successful contact lens wearer. Your final prescription for contact lenses is included.

Medical Eye Exams

We offer prompt emergency eye care services. Don’t wait for hours in the emergency room! Our eye doctor has the correct training and devices to best assess your painful, red, goopy, or blurry eyes. We keep emergency spots available for same-day appointments or walk-ins.

Visual Field Testing

This advanced test measures the function of your optic nerve and even your brain. If you take certain medications, have migraine headaches or have a family history of glaucoma, a visual field test might be a very important part of your healthcare picture. We utilize the innovative Olleyes virtual reality device for a faster and more comfortable testing experience.
